I bet there’s a lot of human females looking at their male partner’s eye sockets today and thinking ……so that’s why!!! Or hoping…… – now that was a naughty thought Jess!

Happy New Year to all my readers!

Sorry I haven’t written anything lately. I’ve been too busy enjoying myself over Christmas and New Year.  Hope you had a good Crimble. Jenny and John took me to Watergate Bay near Newquay. They stayed in the Watergate Bay Hotel and I stayed with Paula, of Paula’s Pet Care in Newquay. Highly recommend it.  Lots of good walks, good company. there’s a parrot to talk to and a pet hedgehog – now that’s really different.

Anyway it’s back to news giving. We’re doing self catering at Portland House this year.

If you are looking for a large house to holiday in – look no further!

Jenny has got a new hatch back car. I don’t like it because I’ve got a new carrier and I can’t see a damn thing. Which means I’m not barking in the car any more at the traffic and any wooffies in other cars, there’s no fun in life now. She’s raving about it though, she got it from Pet Planet.

Hi,  Jess Jarvis here –

Enjoying the Olympics? Isn’t Jessica  fab-u-lous. Glad we share a name. Not sure I could cope with the hurdles but I’d love to have a race with her cos I’m pretty fast myself I can tell you. And I know how to BOLT when needed!!!

Andy Murray’s done well too. Warming to him now, especially as he’s a Wooffie  lover.

Jess says-

Well are you ready? I am. I’ve got my bed and blanket on the floor in front of  the TV ready to bark at anyone who stops Team GB winning loads of medals.

Wish I’d applied to G4S now as a security dog – I could have had a grandstand view. Well surely they must need small wooffies as well as big ones. I can get to places a big woof can’t.

It’s dodge the showers every time I want to go walkies at the moment. I’ve had to have the hair dryer on me yesterday, cos I was so wet. It’s a wonder I haven’t got webbed feet. The swans have of course and they’re more on the bank of the river than in it at the moment. Why do the weather people drone on every day and say the same thing. Be much easier if they just said – remember yesterday – well it’s the same today – full stop. Anyway it’s just as lovely around here when it’s wet as when dry. There’s plenty to do and see. The spring lambs are bouncing around in the fields. The trees are blossoming. Flowers are opening. Who cares about the Levenson enquiry! The only bugs we’ve got around here are in the compost heap.

Wow – did they have a ball!. Well the humans did – I wasn’t there – I’ve got form for barking too much when horses are around. Anyway the humans in Symonds Yat, Ganarew and Whitchurch had a race night last Friday for fund raising purposes towards the Diamond Jubilee. It was evidently a great night and they raised over £2600. Great result. The Queen and the corgis would approve cos they like horse racing. Brilliant time was had by all with an amazing atmosphere and plenty to eat and drink as well as place your bets please!
